About Spring Lake

In the late 19th century, Spring Lake was a coastal resort. In similar fashion to Newport, it became a place where members of high society from New York and Philadelphia spent their summers.

The Homes

The Spring Lake condos for sale are mostly in single, large buildings. The Essex and The Sussex  is one of the grand hotels that was converted in condos.  Actually, the Essex and The Sussex is age restricted, 55 and older.

The only other major condo building is Hewitt Wellington, which is a unique place. It’s a hotel condominium. It can be rented as a hotel room when the owner, you, is not in residence. The association takes care of renting and cleaning the rooms, you get a portion of the daily rental.
