The homes have either two or three bedrooms. Also, some of the homes have a basement and some have a fireplace. However, there are no garages in Millponds. Some of the homes are two level townhouses, there are also upper level condos or lower level condos. Sizes of the homes range from 1282 square feet to 1868 square feet of living space. The homes have a wide range in terms of the selling price. Homes can be found in the mid $200,000’s for the smaller condos to over $400,000 for the larger townhouses. As is common in a condo community, the association is responsible for exterior maintenance of the building.

In addition, Millponds homes are within walking distance of a bus stop on Route 9, offering both commuter service to New York and local bus routes. Another reason this is a great location is because train service to New York is nearby at the Matawan station.
Education
School age children will attend the Marlboro School District, which educates children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Students in high school will attend the Freehold Regional High School District. There are six schools in the Freehold Regional High School District. Each offers different specialized core curriculums. And when Students enter ninth grade they can apply through a competitive admission process to one of the schools. A sampling of the offered courses are Law & Public Service and Global Studies. Millponds students who are not entering the specialized programs will attend Marlboro High School.
When students enter high school they may also apply to one of the high schools in the Monmouth County Vocational School District. Specialized courses are available in fields such as High Technology, Communications and others. Also shared time courses in assorted medical fields and various building trades are available, among others.
Nearby are numerous private schools.
