Built between 1985 and 1987, Moors Landing Howell has 264 townhouses, and in fact, there are four different models. Two of the models, the Portsmouth (1190 sq ft*) and the Portland (1198 sq ft*) are two bedroom, one or two bath “single level” townhouses. While the other two models, the Mystic (1504 sq ft*) and the Wilmington (1617 sq ft*) are three bedroom 2.5 bath townhouses with two stories. The bedrooms in these homes are on the upper level. In addition, all of the homes have a 1 car garage, and some homes have fireplaces.
Moors Landing charges a monthly maintenance fee for these townhouses. Included in this fee is common area maintenance, garbage removal and snow removal, in addition to use of the outdoor pool and exterior maintenance of the buildings. Pets are not permitted in the townhouses.
Moors Landing also has about 80 single family detached houses. In these two story homes you’ll find three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a one car garage. The detached houses have a low monthly maintenance fee, and what’s included in this fee is common area maintenance, garbage removal, snow removal and also use of the pool. Pets are permitted, with restrictions, in the single family homes.
Homes in Moors Landing are eligible for FHA financing. As a result, low down payment mortgage plans are available for qualified borrowers.
Amenities include the pool and tennis courts. There is also a clubhouse which residents can rent for their parties and celebrations. And of course. the beaches at the Jersey SHore are nearby.

School age children attend the Howell School System and the Freehold Regional High School District.
